In August, the publication “Adam and the bump in the head”, much needed by every young patient, was published. The story is told by mother of the brave hero Adaś Undro, who has been struggling with a brain tumor for several years. The booklet is intended for free distribution in pediatric oncology wards.
No child is prepared for a sudden change of fun, carefree and madness with peers into a hospital reality in which everyday means fear of pain and suffering. Each parent of a small cancer patient faces a huge challenge of how to lead their beloved child through this very difficult change. The booklet is a valuable help for all parents and it’s great that it’s now available!
